🌟 Role Details & Schedule Commitment

• Part-Time: Approximately 15–20 hours per week.

• Location: Pikasso Swig Downtown Charlottesville location.

• Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the Event Coordinator & Management.

• Hours of Operation Note: We prioritize work-life balance! Our usual closing time is 8:00 PM on weekends, meaning this is NOT a late-night bar role. Rare, scheduled shows may occasionally require later hours.

• Availability is CRUCIAL on Weekends: You must be available for shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Shifts on Fridays are optional and available for candidates seeking extra hours or overtime, based on business needs.

• Compensation: Starting $16/hour

🎨 What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)

This role is centered on delivering an unforgettable, high-touch guest experience.

• Be the VIBE! The primary goal is making every guest feel like family by going above and beyond to treat them like they are in our living room.

• Relationship Building: Actively getting to know guests, welcoming people to the store, remembering names, and celebrating everything and everyone (birthdays, milestones, etc.).

• Group Instruction & Assistance: You MUST be outgoing, friendly, and comfortable assisting clients with their chosen projects, providing direction, tips, and encouragement to create their masterpiece.

  • Note: You do not need to be an artist, just comfortable explaining the process of our DIY crafts.

• Operational Support: Responsible for the flow of the studio space. This includes getting and setting up supplies for guests and parties, ensuring tables and stations are clean, and resetting tables quickly after projects are complete.

• Bar & Food Service: Preparing and serving light snacks & drinks from our restaurant/bar, maintaining the stocked bar, entering orders, and processing payments.

• Team Support: Assist the Event Coordinator and management with restocking supplies and general studio organization.

• POSITIVE, Upbeat, Highly Outgoing, and Friendly Attitude is Non-Negotiable.

• Exceptional Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively, clearly, and professionally with all ages and groups, maintaining a friendly and fun demeanor.

• Natural Host/Hostess: Proven ability to build rapport and deliver exceptional, personalized hospitality.

• Ability to work the required schedule, including crucial Saturday and Sunday hours.

• Must be 21 years or older (due to serving alcohol).

• MUST have reliable personal transportation to travel to and from the Charlottesville location for shifts.
